Games Panel & Custom Games
You start your brain training with the Capacity Game at Level 1 – shown by the brain icon. When you gain proficiency at this Level you can unlock additional Capacity games. The game Levels get increasingly difficult. After completing the Capacity Game, you move onto the Flexibility and then the Focus Games.
You can choose from 3 proficiency levels – beginner, proficient and advanced. We recommend that if you have trained extensively with the dual n-back previously, you chose Proficient or Advanced. Otherwise, stick with the default. Higher proficiency levels
Clicking on the circled ‘?’ gives you information about Capacity training.
Clicking on the graph icon during the game opens your training performance graph for useful feedback on how your capacity is improving with training. Clicking on the crown icon opens the Leaderboard so you can compare your score to others’.
Your Profile panel can be accessed top left.
When custom games is selected, you can select your own games. Games do not go up or down automatically but stay on the selected level unless you select another game. In the example below, Capacity Level 2 has been selected. Descriptions of all the games can be accessed by clicking on the ‘?’ icons.
Technical Note for N-Back Users
Beginner: Start at n = 2. Go up one level having attained 1 Session at an average of N=3.
Proficient: Start at n = 3. Go up one Level having attained 1 Session at an average of N=4.Advanced: Start at n = 4. Go up one Level having attained 1 Session at an average of N=5.
