Mark A. Smith, Ph.D
. Director, IQ Mindware Ltd. I obtained a joint Ph.D in cognitive psychology and neuroscience from the joint Carnegie Mellon University and Pittsburgh University Center for the Neural Basis of Cognition (CNBC) program. Between 2000 and 2003 I was a Lecturer in experimental psychology at the University of Cambridge, England. My research and CV can be found here.

The Scientists Behind the Historical Development of the Dual N-Back Training Method

Our i3 Mindware brain training software builds on scientists’ theoretical understanding of working memory and the n-back training exercise  that has been used by cognitive neuroscientists in laboratories for over a decade. The scientists most central to the the historical development of this training method are shown below.
